The application of this process is developed on a project specific basis to meet the varied needs of our clients but will include as a minimum:
1.0 - Material Selection and proof of supplier to installation delivery chain
1.1 - Technical Submissions
Our in house technical department will collate all available technical information for each material specified for the project. This will include a general summary of the material characteristics along with all available Material/Product/Safety/Fire Data Sheets Declarations of Performance, Installation guides, BBA certification and environmental certification such as BRE Global/BES 6001. This process ensures any party within CSW or the client team tasked with specifying materials, has access to the latest information and are able to make informed decisions when selecting the correct product.
1.2 -Delivery Records
CSW will record all material deliveries along with dispatch and delivery notes ensuring the products specified are the products delivered and installed. All photographic evidence Is maintained within our digital platform with associated time/date and GPS location stamps.
1.3 - Installation Checklists
Our installation QA inspection sheets will describe the materials specified and include relevant material data sheets. Photographic evidence will be collected for every material installed. This process as managed via our digital platform with integrated version controls and time/date/GPS location logged for all evidence collected.
2.0 - Installation Quality Control checklists and evidence
2.1 - Inspection test Plan (ITP)
An inspection test plan will be produced for the project outlining inspection phases and hold points defined by industry best practice and considering any client/project specific requirements.

All documentation produced as part of the process’s described will be available to the client throughout the duration of the project via a cloud shared folder. Following completion, our O&M Manual can include any elements of the data collected during our programme. This offers our clients and principal contractors a robust record of the entire rainscreen installation process that can be maintained for the lifetime of the building, and inform any future works undertaken on the building façade.
