CSW Claddings initial involvement in this project required the assessment of a previously installed Steel Frame System that was found to be out of compliance with Ash & Lacy SFS installation specifications.
Working closely with the principal contractor R G Allen and Ash & Lacy, extensive remedial works were undertaken including the removal and replacement of large sections of SFS to ensure the highest standards of installation were achieved.
The successful completion of the SFS installation allowed the project to proceed with external façade works comprising of Versapanel sheathing board, Alutrix 600 Vapour Control Barrier, Kingspan K12 and Ancon 25/14 channels installed by CSW in support of the brickwork façade contractor.
Complimenting the brickwork on the main entrance, central courtyard and canopied areas is a timber cladding install utilising fire treated Western Red Cedar supported by Nvelopes NV6 timber cladding subframe system installed over Alutrix 600 Vapour Control Barrier. Timber areas were insulated using Kingspan Insulation with the projects fire strategy achieved using Siderise RVG and RH25G cavity fire barriers.
